Outstanding deep water diorama by noted ship model builder William Hitchcock. Titled “Breezing up in Bermuda”, auxiliary schooner yacht Atlantic cruises into St. George’s harbor, Bermuda C1928. Held trans-Atlantic crossing record 1905 – 1980. William Gardner design, 1/16th scale William E Hitchcock. The gracious three masted schooner yacht “Atlantic” is passing a fleet of Bermuda Dinghies in Hamilton Harbor Circa 1910. Hitchcock used his trademark deep water technique on this wonderful piece. Fitted to a custom case.
